Purple brings a gentler, slightly playful finish on our red-haired model. Silver jewellery picks up its cooler undertone, while grey or navy slippers keep the outfit harmonious. For me, this is the colour for an evening in, a relaxed weekend breakfast or a train journey when comfort is absolutely non-negotiable.
All three versions share the clever bits: an easy pull-on shape, long sleeves, stretch in the fabric and wide-leg trousers that move rather than cling. Wear the set together, or split it—each top works with dark denim and each trouser works with an ivory knit. No faff, plenty of options.
